CEREC Technology

Exam - Cleaning

CEREC technology is a computer based restorative ceramic technique. Essentially, we take the optical print of the damaged tooth and we digitize it with the help of advanced German software. The file is then sent to a manufacturing room where the porcelain restoration is casted. Before inserting it, we polish it carefully so that it looks natural and esthetically pleasing. Then, we meld the restoration with the teeth. From casting to insertion, patients can now benefit within a matter of a few hours a personalized and permanent restoration (incrustation, crown, crown implants, bridge).

Beyond creating a natural and healthy look, CEREC technology treats fractured and cracked teeth, solidifies non vital teeth (that have undergone a root canal) and reinforces heavily mortgaged teeth that show large signs of amalgam filling (grey filling), all in one sitting!
